Lift available north to Queensland

Hi Guys,

 

I am driving from Beechworth in North East Victoria (3hrs from Melbourne) on Saturday September 19 heading north to my final destination, Mackay in Queensland. I have room for passengers for all or part of the journey. I need to be in Mackay 4 days after I leave on Wednesday September 23, 2009. As such, there isn't much time for 'sightseeing' but if you want to get from A to B my trip may suit. Passenger/s to share cost of petrol for their journey and possibly some driving too. Destinations and/or pickups along the way may include Sydney, Byron Bay, Gold Coat, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Rockhampton and any towns/areas nearby and along the way. As I am departing from the country in North East Victoria, I am able to pick someone up from the train station in Wangaratta or Albury/Wodonga on the day that I leave. Trains leave Melbourne and other regional towns to these cities which are only 30min drive from where I live. Hope to hear from you soon if you are interested.
