JUNIOR FACTORY WORKER- For Busy Furniture Finishing factory

Leading furniture retailer, Whitewood Warehouse, is looking for a permanent PART - TIME junior to join their successful team.
If you have experience in preparing furniture for spray finishing or have a desire to work with timber this could be the role for you.
 
The varied daily workload may include the following:
 
·         Maintaining a clean and safe work environment of a busy furniture manufacturing and spray facility
·         Sanding and preparation of raw furniture items to be stained and lacquered
·         Receiving of stock and planning of production order
·         Lifting and moving furniture items in and out of a spray booth efficiently and safely
 
 
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
·         The experience and ability to hit the ground running
·         Experience in a similar role working with wood or a keen desire to learn
·         Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
·         The ability to follow clear instructions efficiently
·         A fun and easy going personality
·         A proven desire to learn and progress in a manufacturing environment
·         An understanding of safe workplace practices
·         A current drivers license is desirable but not essential
